It's no secret that in the big 2026, collecting physical games isn't what it
used to be. Between the dreaded Game Key Card situation on Nintendo Switch 2,
the general lack of availability and subpar inner offerings, including a lack
of manuals and extra goodies, more and more gamers are moving to digital.

However, if there was one company to buck that trend, historically at least,
it's been Rockstar Games, who've packed maps and other knick-knacks inside
their physical releases for as long as we can remember. It's what's made the
prospect of purchasing Grand Theft Auto 6 in person all the more tantalizing.

According to a new report from PPE, a website that previously broke news of
Microsoft Flight Simulator on PS5 and Sonic Racing: CrossWorld's Switch 2
release date, Rockstar isn't planning a physical release for GTA 6, at least
not at launch.
根據 PPE 網站最新報導（該網站先前曾爆料微軟飛行模擬器登陸 PS5 和索尼克賽車：
CrossWorld Switch 2 發售日期），Rockstar 並不打算為 GTA 6 推出實體版，至少在發

Citing word from a source who handles physical video game sales in Europe, in
an effort to avoid leaks, GTA 6 will seemingly launch as a digital-only
title. A physical version could arrive as soon as a few weeks post-launch or
deep into 2027.
據一位負責歐洲實體遊戲銷售的消息人士透露，為了避免洩露，GTA 6 似乎將以純數位版
的形式發售。實體版最快可能在遊戲發售幾週後推出，也有可能要等到 2027 年下半年。
