911集裡面有解釋了，雖然聽不太懂(講很快)，大概是一種基因遺傳的疾病。
網路上的英文字典是這樣寫
Popularized by an episode of South Park, a Ginger is a person with
red hair, pale skin, and freckles. They have a disease called
Gingervitis, which causes these physical traits. The Ginger gene is
recessive, meaning a Ginger child can be born to non-Ginger parents.
Like vampires the Ginger Kids need to avoid the sun and don’t go out
during the day.
至於紅頭髮的是不是都是Ginger Kids，Cartman也有自己獨到的分類方式....XD
Kyle interrupts and says that he has red hair and he goes outside.
Cartman counters by classifying those with red hair, but no light
skin and freckles as “DAYWALKERS,” using a picture of Kyle as an example.
不過這集某些部分有些沉重，但是看到Cartman最後在台上囧的表情，真好笑XDDD
